Perché si apre un blog?

Perché si cerca uno spazio.Perché si cerca. Perché ci si vuole ritrovare. Perché si vuole essere trovati.

Per rileggersi, rivedersi dopo un po’, e verificare se ci piaceremmo, incontrandoci come persone estranee.
Si apre per aprirlo, per soppesare contenuti ed intessere un personalissimo collage. Per mettere in fila, piolo dopo piolo, una scaletta che vorremmo ci portasse lontano. Per provare. Si apre un blog per darsi un appuntamento regolare, scandito nel tempo.
Per far sapere agli altri, per chiarire a noi stessi; anche per fregarsene. Per convincersi di qualcosa. Per chiedere pareri.

Perché un altro blog è diventato uno spazio troppo piccolo, perché i lavori erano sparsi dappertutto.
Si scrive sperando che qualcuno lo leggerà, perché si è visto e letto qualcosa che ci è piaciuto; perché si è ispirati.Perché c’è qualcosa da dire e la vastità della rete incoraggia - non si sa mai a che orecchio andranno a finire le tue parole, quale occhio si fermerà su un disegno o una foto. Si scrive in medias res, dando ad altri l’opportunità di ricostruirci pezzo per pezzo.

Apro questo blog, a mò di finestra aperta, per tutti quelli che vorranno passarci davanti e dare un’occhiata; sarà per me una rappresentazione unitaria e continua, una documentazione day by day dell’evoluzione artistico-creativa che è sempre rimasta frammentata in categorie separate.

Cercherò di mantenere gli interventi bilingui il più frequentemente possibile, per sgranchirmi il cervello. Inauguro con un sonoro ZAC di forbici il carciofocontento blog!

Why starting a new blog?

Maybe looking you’re for some space. Maybe because you’re just looking for something. Or, you’re looking for yourself. Or also, why not, because you want to be found. Because you want to read back in old posts and find out whether you would like or not to meet a person like you.
Also, might be that you start it just for the sake of it, or because the idea of creating a growing collage out of the content that keeps widening online it’s intriguing you.
Maybe it’s because you have goals to reach, step by step, and need a process to do that. Maybe because you just wanna try. You start a blog because you want to have a fixed appointment, with regular timings, a place to get back to, from time to time.
Maybe because you want others to know something, or you need to get convinced of something else.

Because you want to ask others’ opinions. You start a blog because the old one has become a too small place; because your other works were scattered here and there on the net.

You start a blog hoping that somebody will read, enjoy dropping by from time to time, or else because you saw somebody doing the same, it felt good and you got inspired to try it yourself.

Because you want to say something and the vastity of internet is encouraging you to do so – after all, you never know who’s gonna stop and have a look. Because you want to share your work in progress with others.

I’m starting this blog, as an open window, for all those who will enjoy being updated about the things I’m up to: it’ll be a heterogeneous flow-representation of my work, gathering all the creative content I’m creating here and there. I’ll try to keep the updates in the Italian and the English version as well, to keep my brain trained.
